''The director Renato Bonajuto and the set designer Danilo Coppola set the first act in a dilapidated theater, at the center of the scene a large canvas that evokes Mimmo Rotella's Décollage: torn posters that tell the life of the theater. On the sides two large columns that recall the Arcoscenico della Scala. In the second act, the one dedicated to the staging of the opera, elements appear that refer, always with a smile, to the Baroque scenography. A highly inspired direction, which works perfectly despite its simplicity, many amusing finds such as the large Botticelli shell from which Venus mother Agatha emerges and her crackling entrance from the back of the theater'
